Mrs Irina Espada - Homeschooling Mom of 3
I am Irina, Homeschooling mom of 3, Spanish Teacher and languages enthusiast. I was raised in a paradise island in Spain called Menorca. I also lived in Barcelona and Madrid for many years. As a teacher, I follow the RAE (Real Academia Española) and the Institute of Cervantes as points of reference of the Spanish language.
I started teaching Spanish to my American born children when I realized that when I spoke to them in Spanish, they were answering back only in English. I took that as an opportunity to create playful lessons that my children would love. When we turned learning into a game, my children kept asking for more, and soon Spanish became their "Favorite subject".
I then started teaching Spanish to the Homeschooling children in our community and from that experience, "Fluent in Spanish Academy" was born!
Now I am taking my Spanish Curriculum to the online Arena, and I am thrilled to keep helping children and families learn about the beautiful Spanish language and culture!

Do you offer Live Spanish Lessons?+
The Enrollment for the Academy is for the Self-paced Program only. There are no Live classes offered inside this program. However I will offer some surprise BONUS Live Morning Time Lessons.
What if we have questions about the Lessons?+
There is a Comment section available under each lesson. You can ask your questions there and I will answer you within 48 hours.
What if my child has never studied Spanish?+
No problem at all! The Academy is perfect for beginners and intermediate students alike.
